Project Medium: Video

This is a proposal of an application I designed. The app itself is not coded or programmed out yet. “Motionist is an app that allows you to create motion graphics in 4 simple steps, with endless combinations of shapes, lines, colors, and a clip of audio.

Features:
• Over 30 preset geometric shapes and color palettes creates endless possibilities.
• Import from music library and instant detection of music BPM in combination with shapes and color generates original motion graphics.
• Record your own music and see motion graphics add life to the audio experience.
• Integration with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, etc.) to share content with friends.

Tiffany Kao is currently a BFA Design and Technology student at Parsons the New School for Design. Influenced by pop art and street culture, Tiffany aims to juxtapose vibrant colors, shapes and forms with music to create dynamic visual experience. She has developed a passion in motion graphics, audio-visual systems, and interactive media, particularly 3D projection mapping for live performances, concerts, and event designs.
